Who it’s for

For workflows that shape how your business works

When customers need to choose options, submit information, book or complete a multi-step order, the project starts with those actions. We agree what the public website needs to explain and what the working flow needs to handle.

The opportunity

Start with the work the website must handle

Useful functionality begins with a defined process, the people who use it and the information each step needs.

Map the process before choosing features

Identify what the customer or your team needs to do, what information they provide and what should happen next. Those steps define the project scope.

Connect the tools you already use

Review existing booking, payment or business tools and their available connection options. Agree access, provider requirements and integration scope before development.

Plan the handoff as part of the build

Define the source code, agreed assets, account access and operating notes to be handed over. New features and ongoing maintenance are scoped separately.

The approach

A clear website, with the right working flows

Public pages explain your business. Booking and order steps request information when it is needed. Customer accounts, dashboards or connections to other tools can be included when they serve a defined workflow. We agree the screens, content and functionality before work begins.

What’s possible

Functionality chosen around the task

The proposal sets out the pages, features, integrations and handoff. Each element should have a clear role for your customers or team.

  • Booking and inquiry flows with fields matched to your process
  • Customer accounts or dashboards when the workflow needs them
  • Order steps and product choices tailored to your business
  • Connections to existing tools through supported interfaces
  • Responsive layouts for the agreed screens
  • Search setup for public pages
  • Source code, agreed assets and operating notes at handoff

How projects take shape

From the first conversation to launch

Each stage has a defined deliverable and a place for your feedback. You know what you’re reviewing before the project moves forward.

  1. Define the project

The first conversation becomes a written brief: audience, goals, pages, content, integrations, and what needs to be in place for launch.

    Deliverables and your part
    You receive
An agreed brief and milestone plan.
    Your part
Business details, existing assets, website context, required access, and one person to approve the work.
  2. Plan the pages and content

A sitemap sets out the pages. Wireframes establish the layout of key screens. The copy gives each page the information and emphasis it needs.

    Deliverables and your part
    You receive
An approved sitemap, wireframes, and content direction.
    Your part
Consolidated feedback on priorities, accuracy, and missing content.
  3. Design and build

Key-page designs establish the look of the site. Once approved, they become a responsive build with the functionality and integrations in your brief.

    Deliverables and your part
    You receive
Approved key-page designs and a working responsive website.
    Your part
Consolidated milestone feedback, final content, and the access needed for development.
  4. Test, launch, and hand off

The build is checked across the agreed browsers and screen sizes. In-scope defects are resolved before release and the agreed handoff.

    Deliverables and your part
    You receive
A launch-ready website, source repository, agreed assets and access, and operating notes.
    Your part
Final approval and access to the domain, hosting, and third-party services needed for launch.

Clear expectations at every stage

Up to two rounds of revisions

Structure and visual direction each include up to two consolidated revision rounds. One decision-maker provides a single feedback list per round. Changes to an approved milestone are reviewed as a change in scope before work continues.

An agreed handoff

The live website, source repository, agreed assets, relevant account access, and operating notes are handed over as set out in the project proposal. Third-party accounts and licenses remain subject to their providers’ terms.

Support after launch

One month of support after launch is included for technical fixes within the approved scope. New pages, content, features, ongoing maintenance, and changes to third-party services are scoped separately.

FAQ

Planning a custom web project

Can you build around our existing business process?

Yes. Share the steps, the people involved and the tools you use. We review the workflow, agree what the website should handle and define the scope before development.

Can you connect our current tools?

We review the provider’s supported connection options, account access and requirements. Custom integrations, automation and paid services are scoped and priced separately before work begins.

Is every custom project an online store?

No. A project can focus on booking, inquiries, customer accounts, dashboards or another defined business workflow. An online store has its own product and ordering requirements.

Can you work with an existing website?

MalixCode primarily takes on new website builds. Share your current URL and the work you have in mind so the project can be reviewed for fit.

What happens after launch?

One month of support covers technical fixes within the agreed scope. New features, content changes, ongoing maintenance and changes to third-party services are quoted separately.

How is a custom project priced?

From $1,800 for a focused landing page. Your final quote depends on the pages, features and integrations agreed for your business; larger projects can cost $3,200 or more. Pay 50% before work begins and 50% when ready. One month of support for in-scope technical fixes is included; domain, hosting and paid services are separate.
